It is preferable for us that if someone does not have access to a warehouse that they can not see that warehouse or orders that have been created in that warehouse. We have multiple agents and users and it is not relevant for them to see each others orders plus sales amongst our agents should be kept confidential. Only the account owner/supplier should be able to see all warehouses and the user/agent should only be able to see those that they have been granted access to. Thanks!

On behalf of Hester Creek: we need to set parameters for users such as warehouse and agents - they should not be able to change / view all items and prices.

Per Kristina, if 3PL/Distribution company gets access to Ollie, they gain access to all the Seller's data including sales details and other sensitive information.

Hi Steven,
I was wondering if there is any progress on this?
I was hoping to add a few more pieces to this to this, it seems that our agents/users have full access to view, change and manipulate inventory. So I’d also like to suggest:
users should not be able to make inventory adjustments or transfers
users should not be able to activate/deactivate products
users should only be able to see inventory for the warehouse that they have access to
Essentially what I’m requesting is that the account owner should be the only one who can view everything and make changes to everything, the agents should only be able to create orders, view the orders they’ve created and view reporting that is relevant to their orders and their warehouses.
Do you think that this will be something that Ollie will be able to make a priority implementation? This is a really important piece for us, without user permissions it puts the account owner in a pretty vulnerable position when it comes to inventory management. It also is important for confidentiality amongst sales agents, we work with multiple agents and they are not normally privy to sales data and allocations of other agents, we would like to keep it that way.
Thank you.

Impacts client migration, but we should not treat as a blocker for SL retire to minimize scope creep and impacting shifting resources to ON Expansion.
Not a blocker for new deals.
Prerequisite
Needs extensive communication to prepare clients to migrate from SL to Ollie without this feature.
Consider bring back Sophie for assisting migration
Target date for SL retire TBD.

Steven Chung yes, we need to assign warehouse access to each user. And then we need to assign each user to a role, for example "Sales Rep" which might only be able to see their own orders/customers.

Just adding to this - it also seems that our agents can pull detailed sales reports for all territories and warehouses, sku reports etc. Ideally they can only pull reports for their own territory and their own orders. The account owner/administrator should be the only one who can pull all sales reports.

Ryan Wilson: Will we be able to select a warehouse for Detailed Sales Report just like the Sales by SKU report?
