Would like to see the search bar on the orders page be more like searching in Logistics. Historically we have typed in the delivery date in the invoice comments, and that's helped us in sorting what's been going out. <COMMENTS> Steven Chung Jas Gane, terra@yellowdogbrew.com , lachlan@vibrewing.com , Stacy McDonald, alison@vibrewing.com Attached below is a mockup of what we believe you are requesting to help filter orders that are being targeted for specific delivery dates. Once the Delivery Date range is specified, the order list will only display the orders that match the date range. To enable this filter to work we would add a new Delivery Date field to the order page that you could modify. Please confirm that this addresses your requirements. 1 · January 4, 2022 · Steven Chung Jas Gane, terra@yellowdogbrew.com , lachlan@vibrewing.com , Stacy McDonald, alison@vibrewing.com Attached below is a mockup of what we believe you are requesting to help filter orders that are being targeted for specific delivery dates. To me it looks like you are just adding "Delivery" in front of the current date feature? Maybe I am using the date feature wrong currently? When we place an order I am changing the date to the delivery day. It would be nice if it showed when an order was placed and when it is supposed to be delivered, like on logistics! Maybe this was the wrong post for this... sorry if that's not helpful! 0 · January 11, 2022 · lachlan@vibrewing.com Steven Chung: Hi Steven. If I am understanding it correctly, having the ability to enter delivery dates as a field and subsequently be able to filter orders using that field would work great for me. 1 · January 11, 2022 · Jas Gane Steven Chung: Hi Steven, yes this looks like it would work great. Currently we've been using the 'Date' field to filter orders, but having a specific 'Delivery Date' field would be very helpful :) 2 · January 11, 2022 · Steven Chung terra@yellowdogbrew.com : Hi Terra, sorry for the confusion. We intend to add a new, separate Delivery Date field. This would enable you to track the Order Date and Delivery Date in separate fields and filter on them as well. 0 · January 11, 2022 · Alison Costello Steven Chung: Do we have any updates on this? 0 · February 25, 2022 · Steven Chung https://untappd.atlassian.net/browse/OLLIE-274 0 · Internal · December 13, 2021 · Reply Steven Chung potential concerns related to performance with sellers searching across non-indexed text fields. 0 · Internal · October 27, 2021 · Reply Steven Chung Consider enabling Sellers to add/remove tags on orders and filter based on tags. This will provide the flexibility for Sellers to add any keywords (dates, zones, etc..) and then filter based upon that criteria. 0 · Internal · October 29, 2021 · Reply Steven Chung Per MRR/ARR report, the clients requesting this feature represents ~$22k ARR / $1830 MRR. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JwuPHI-SKSIkCDZmUpDwGEH0K434fJ7e/edit#gid=463551170 0 · Internal · October 21, 2021 · Reply Steven Chung This missing feature is the main reason SuperFlux has been delaying the move off of SL as long as possible. 0 · Internal · October 18, 2021 · Reply Steven Chung Laura Zuniga Please review this and incorporate into your Long Term designs. Not urgent, but important, given the feedback and votes. 0 · Internal · October 15, 2021 · Reply Kristina Dyk Steven Chung more from Alison on this: A big one for us right now is that the picklist function that's currently available in SL is the search bar on the 'Orders Page'. We write in a delivery date for each customer that we deliver to, and this helps us to sort through our week of deliveries. We know that the 'Customer Group' function was created to help this, but a lot of our local partners that we deliver to ourselves don't have one specific delivery date, and we're really hoping to have the search function moved over from the previous system because we can see a lot of orders getting missed with the current set up. If there's a better way to use this system we're all ears, but the current system that we have in place works really well for our weekly local deliveries. 0 · Internal · October 6, 2021 · Reply Steven Chung Karl Campbell Given the description provided by Alison, could you provide a high level recommendation as to how this would be implemented in Ollie and effort (1-5)? 0 · Internal · November 18, 2021 · Reply Karl Campbell Steven Chung: I think it means she would like to see the search bar also search the order notes. it should be pretty straight forward to add the notes to the searchable fields. i would give it a 2 (just because i haven't touched the order search before). we have a ticket already which touches the same code: https://untappd.atlassian.net/browse/OLLIE-400 0 · Internal · November 18, 2021 · Reply Steven Chung Karl Campbell: Scott indicated that there potential concerns related to performance with sellers searching across non-indexed text fields. Scott Barrow you mentioned that enabling Sellers to add/remove tags on orders and filter based on tags was not effective either. Could you remind me why this was not a ideal way to give the flexibility for our Sellers to categorize and find their orders? 0 · Internal · November 29, 2021 · Reply Steven Chung Scott Barrow Karl Campbell please provide feedback. 0 · Internal · December 2, 2021 · Reply Scott Barrow Steven Chung: We can use pg search to search the text field unindexed, so not overly concerned with performance but we'll need to validate that. Tags are generic and by nature very slow to query by. I dont recall my previous comment, but If there's a specific use case for searching/filtering I'd rather us identify what that is and determine if it needs its own filter type than rely on tags 0 · Internal · December 2, 2021 · Reply Alison Costello I agree, this would be really helpful! Or some other method for filtering what's going out on a given day e.g. a field for 'Delivery Date' in the details section of the order (similar to the PO# field) with a calendar/dropdown where you select the date. Then this date could be used to sort orders for delivery. 0 · September 8, 2021 · Alison Costello Do we have an update on this? 0 · September 8, 2021 · Steven Chung Kristina Dyk doesn't the following Search Orders feature fulfill this requirement? 0 · Internal · July 22, 2021 · Reply Kristina Dyk Steven Chung: This search doesn't enable them to find things they have written in the notes section 0 · Internal · October 6, 2021 · Reply Mike Macquisten Kristina Dyk: You could tell them to put customers into groups by city or "zones" for example: UBC, East Van, Gastown, Downtown, Kits, etc. 0 · Internal · October 15, 2021 · Reply Kristina Dyk Mike Macquisten: They do use groups (they mention it above) but it doesn't fully capture their need - they said they'll often schedule customers outside of their typical route groups etc, so they want to be able to search by the data they enter in notes (which is where they are currently assigning delivery dates) 0 · Internal · October 15, 2021 · Reply Sophie Oliver marked this post as UNDER REVIEW Thanks for the feedback!
