Inventory Report - Specific Date
Is there a report to pull for all inventory for a specific date? In order for me to reconcile my inventory at month end without having to pull it on the 31st? <COMMENTS> Chereen Dupuis This would be super helpful! Also, we need the ability to choose one or more warehouses for the report. 0 · February 8, 2022 · Steven Chung Merged in a post: Inventory Report - Need to be able to select "As at Date" Louise Lalor Desperately need to add a date button to the above report so it can be run on a specific date. Need this to value inventory at month end. Snapshot 0 · Internal · November 26, 2021 · Reply Louise Lalor Adding a date button to pull an Inventory by SKU Report would be an excellent addition to allow month entry inventory reconciliation from the CSV file that is relatively "clean" as compared the Inventory Reconciliation Report that has a date range field. 0 · November 25, 2021 · Kristina Dyk Additional feedback from Hillside Winery: My request to have a date button added to the Inventory by SKU Report is driven by the need to calculate our month end inventory value per the Ollie warehouses inventory. We have an inventory value in our accounting records however need to reconcile what is in Ollie and compare to our QuickBooks value. I am certain that being able to pull inventory at a specific date would be a hugely helpful to many users. To calculate the inventory value the specific vintage of each SKU is multiplied by the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). The Inventory reconciliation report has a lot of information which is not needed to do this calculation and in addition the formatting makes pulling the SKUs and vintages difficult. Any idea when the date button might be added to the Inventory by SKU report? Thanks again for your help 0 · Internal · November 25, 2021 · Reply Kristina Dyk Additional feedback from Hillside Winery: The Inventory Reconciliation is cumbersome to manipulate in Excel with VLOOKUPs - which is what I need to use to calculate inventory value. The Inventory report is clean in that it has the SKU and the number of bottles - I am sure it would be of great value to other Ollie customers. Let me know if this might be possible? Otherwise I will have to use the above. Thank you Louise

Negative Inventory
We should not be allowed to have negative inventory. If we enter in an order and there isn't enough product in stock, it shouldn't let us accept or ship the order - it should say shipment failed. Prior to the update we wouldn't be able to ship orders if there was not enough inventory. Now it is letting us and sending the inventory into a negative. <COMMENTS> Jas Gane Hi, has there been any update on this? 0 · January 25, 2022 Steven Chung Kristina Dyk Would simply adding a warning that the Seller is going into negative inventory help address this concern? cc: Scott Barrow 0 · Internal · December 10, 2021 · Reply Scott Barrow Steven Chung: I believe we do, at least the line item goes red, however the UX might be able to be enhanced. This causes all sorts of issues with inventory control and I much prefer how it was handled with Saleslitre than with Ollie Order. 1 · November 30, 2021 · Reply Robert I see this is under review but I'm going to throw my two cents in as well - from a control perspective, placing orders when there is negative inventory is a big no-no. I hope this gets fixed. 1 · September 16, 2021 · Steven Chung marked this post as UNDER REVIEW 0 · July 14, 2021 · Steven Chung Depends upon client use case. It is also important to see how much inventory there is available before adding the product to the order (similar to in Sales Litre) vs after adding it to the order. 2 · May 3, 2021 · Tracy McLean agreed

Product duplicate
Is there any plans to create a product duplicate option for creating new products? This was extremely helpful on Ollie Logistics as often a new product is identical as a previous product, with the exception of the vintage. <COMMENTS> Gene This would be a very helpful feature going forward, but also onboarding. Our library is extensive and it will take a lot of time to rebuild all the products 0 · 2 days ago · Steven Chung Needs UX & design consideration because Ollie has product with multiple variants, whereas in SL, each product variant is it's own product, but adding new vintages is not that frequent. 0 · Internal · November 30, 2021 · Reply Kristina Dyk Added on behalf of Hester Creek: we need to be able to copy a product and just change the vintage. currently need to create an entire new product list (list is already out of control) 0 · November 30, 2021 · Steven Chung Laura Zuniga Kristina Dyk Wondering if the need to modify the vintage is to make it easier to update a product. If that's the case, then duplicating the product, but modifying the vintage may address that requirement. 0 · Internal · November 9, 2021 · Reply Sophie Oliver marked this post as UNDER REVIEW Hey Maya! Thanks for your request, that is great feedback. We don't currently have that specific functionality planned; however, we do have plans to update the Product Catalogue in Ollie Order so I've added your request to the project for our product team to review internally. We'll keep you posted here :)
