Right now, you are able to charge credit cards that you have not gotten express written consent to charge. I have no idea how this is legal. Could we please add in a Credit App upload space -- or a check box that we can use next to the card we have permissions for -- or a system that offers customers the ability to sign a waiver saying they give anyone using Ollie the right to use the credit card associated with their account. <COMMENTS> Steven Chung marked this post as IN PROGRESS We're developing the capability to enable your customers to approve charging their selected credit card. My concern is not with the sharing of Credit Card details -- it has to do with who is an authorized seller -- and what exactly does that mean. Are you authorizing us? Does the Licensee have the ability to choose who can charge their card... you see my problem. There is no way for me as someone trying to charge a card to know wether I have permission to charge it unless I check my files each time. This takes a lot of time and negates the usefulness of Ollie remembering the card. What I am asking for is just a simple check box that my company can use showing us that we have permission to use this card, that way I don't have to double check all the time. 1 · July 23, 2021 · Steven Chung Creek & Gully Cider: Got it. We'll make sure to incorporate this into the requirements and I'll reach out if we have further questions. Cheers! 1 · July 23, 2021 · Cassandra Agate Steven Chung: I'm finding this same issue! Transparency & visibility to update credit card info is important for Buyers. Put control back into Buyers' hands. Buyer should be able to update credit card # on file. Seller must do it on their behalf. Mirror what's available for Sellers. 0 · Internal · July 28, 2021 · Reply Steven Chung Related to: https://app.clickup.com/8640458/v/l/87nya-700 0 · Internal · September 2, 2021 · Reply Steven Chung Conversation with Ollie Order Started on August 31, 2021 at 12:50 PM America/Vancouver time PDT (GMT-0700) Intercom conversation with Tate Lillies https://app.intercom.com/a/apps/xzt0fasj/inbox/inbox/conversation/51268 --- 12:50 PM | Tate Lillies: I want to submit a bug report 12:50 PM | Operator: Thank you for bringing this to our attention! 12:50 PM | Operator: In a few words, can you tell us about the issue you're seeing? 12:52 PM | Tate Lillies: THIS IS AN ASAP URGENT BUG!!! Your system is apparently mixing up credit cards and charging the wrong accounts. I don't know how big this is but the potential is major ... We processed payments for New District Liquor Store, for the only card on their account ... and on 3 separate occasions Village Liquor was charged for their orders. The only reason we know is because the customer told us. 12:52 PM | Operator: We really appreciate you letting us know. Can you confirm that the last 4 digits / expiry of the card on file for New District Liquor Store matches the card you have authorization to charge? Do you know the last four digits of the Village Liquor stores card? It shouldn't be possible for one card to appear to be correctly charged, but in fact an entirely different card is charged all together, so I think this may be a situation where the wrong card was added and charged. But lets start with the numbers and we can see where were go from there. -kd 01:35 PM | Operator: Help Kristina understand how they’re doing: 01:35 PM | Operator: Rate your conversation 01:42 PM | Tate Lillies: are you telling me that if another brewery changes a card 01:42 PM | Tate Lillies: s number it effects our system? 01:43 PM | Tate Lillies: If that's the case that's a major problem ... and probably not legal. 01:43 PM | Tate Lillies: please just look at 3 I just refunded. 01:45 PM | Tate Lillies: 5716 01:45 PM | Tate Lillies: please call me 778-227-9780. this has me very concerned 02:01 PM | Kristina from Ollie Order: All credit cards are held in a vault - so users can add or remove cards but do not have access to seeing all of the card details (neither do we). Cards are added to the buyer level, not specific to a sellers accounts. Sellers need to ensure the card being charged matches the card they have authorization to charge (quite often buyers use one card for all the sellers, so many sellers are charging the same one but in some cases you'll see multiple cards on file as multiple sellers have added credit card details). Buyers can see what sellers have charged their card (ie. the charge is connected to seller). Just looking at some of your recent charges to NDLS, different cards have been charged: August 16 charged New District Liquor Store to card ending in •••• 1004 August 05 charged New District Liquor Store to card ending in ••• 5716 June 14 charged New District Liquor Store to card ending in •••• 7842 The current card on file for New District Liquor Store is card ending in •••• 7842 For Village Liquor, do you know if it the location in West Van or Gabriola Island (the latter doesn't have a card on file so I can't compare and see if the same card is used in two places). But I think that is what has happened here - the wrong card may have been added and charged in error. 02:07 PM | Tate Lillies: That is so very concerning. So you're telling me that anyone can add and remove a card number in the system? Another concerning practice by Ollie. 02:09 PM | Tate Lillies: Someone, then, from some brewery added a Village Liquor Store card number for New District. It's Village Liquor in West Van ... and they have told us they've been charged for New District orders from others too. 02:11 PM | Tate Lillies: If this isn't fixed it'll probably be the last straw for us ... too may questionable things being done on the back end by you guys to trust as we work towards opening our brewery. Every little thing like this costs me time, money and reputation. --- Exported from Ollie Order on September 7, 2021 at 01:25 PM America/Vancouver time PDT (GMT-0700) 0 · Internal · September 7, 2021 · Reply Steven Chung Epic in Jira https://untappd.atlassian.net/jira/software/projects/OLLIE/boards/91/backlog?issueParent=20700&selectedIssue=OLLIE-2 0 · Internal · September 8, 2021 · Reply Steven Chung marked this post as IN PROGRESS We're developing the capability to enable your customers to approve charging their selected credit card. I spoke to Rudy at Whistler Liquor Store (Lic# 195429). He is having a huge problem with whole bunch of mystery charges going through to his store’s Visa ending in 7125. After some investigation, he figured out these charges were actually for Legacy Liquor Store (Lic#195477). I have Legacy Liquor Store Visa ending in 3729 on file. As far as my view goes on Ollie, there is no issue. Could you please look at your master database to see if you can delete Whistler Liquor Store’s Visa ending in 7125 off of Legacy Liquor Store payment info and provide Rudy with list of Legacy invoices that were incorrectly charged on Whistler Liquor’s Visa ending in 7125 so that his accountant can proceed with getting the charges reversed.
